The Center
provides therapeutic services for children who are in
need of treatment due to physical abuse, neglect, sexual
victimization or having been a witness to domestic violence.
We see children as young as 4 years old through 17 years,
at no cost to the family. Our caring team of professional
social workers, psychologists and case managers offer
short- and long-term services, which include:
- Full intake
services to determine other needs in the family
- Culturally
sensitive child assessment
- Play Therapy
- Group
Therapy
- Individual
Counseling
- Support
to Parents of Child Victims
We provide
services at our community site located in Southeast,
Washington, DC and can make arrangements for services
at other more convenient locations.
